Japan Now from every region with WAttention

Japan Now from every region

Since the beginning of 2020, media has been consumed by reports of COVID-19 spreading throughout the world. The seriousness of this global event cannot be understated; however, we would also like to share stories of “Japan Now” beyond the news of the outbreak, through the perspective of those who have an intimate connection with Japan — the people of the tourism industry.

Although the current situation has limited our travel, we welcome visitors to enjoy traditional culture and sightseeing around Japan in the future. To convey the whole of Japan, WAttention will carry out a project to deliver multilingual messages to the world free of charge for local governments and tourist businesses targeting inbound travel.

Even from home, fans can experience Japan’s warmth and hospitality by hearing the heartfelt messages from their favorite attractions and businesses around the country. When the time is right, Japan will eagerly welcome visitors once again. In the meantime, we hope many will join “Japan Now from every region” in delivering the charm and appeal of Japan to people around the world.

Now are turbulent times, and it calls for all of us to be patient until they pass.
Once the spread of the coronavirus has declined, we hope you’ll visit us at the Yu-no-Yado Wado.
Our staff looks forward to your stay.

We’re now working to overcome current safety issues, so we can begin providing enjoyable tours of Tsukiji for people from all over the world again.
When you come to Japan, please make sure to drop by Tsukiji in Tokyo.
We’re looking forward to seeing you!

It’s currently not possible to enjoy international travel.
That’s why we welcome you to a fun, enjoyable stay in our thatched-roof village during this period.
As we push through these troubling times, we look forward to the day you arrive in Miyama Kayabuki no Sato.

There’s been nothing but troubling news these days, but I hope thoughts like “Where should I go once things get back to normal?” can give people something nice to look forward to. One great place to visit would be Ogasawara’s very own Chichijima Island, my home.

We thank you for your support and encouragement during the Covid-19 crisis. Donations of masks for healthcare workers are received with much gratitude. When the pandemic finally settles down, we hope to see more tourists turning up in Myoko.

How is everybody lately? We hope you have been well! We are actively coming up with new workshops and preparing new tools to improve your hands-on experiences. When traveling is resumed, we look forward to welcoming you with more exciting experiences.
