Tokyo Bay Odaiba

WAttention Tokyo Culture Special

Tokyo is a large, vibrant city with a long, colorful history. WAttention Tokyo takes magnifying glass to the south of the city and the Tokyo Bay area. We focus first on the history of one of the city’s best summer hangout spots, Odaiba, and how the man-made island came to be constructed. It’s shopping centers, views, and attractions bring in tourists and locals alike to the Tokyo bayside area.

Following that are two specials on recommended spots to check out when you’re in town for some sight seeing. The first is on Toyosu & Odaiba and Kita-Shinagawa and Tennozu Isle. Back in the Edo period (1603-1868), Kita-Shinagawa thrived as a shukuba, or checkpoint station. You can learn all about it and what to do during your visit.

See all that this fresh, beautiful and exciting area has to offer!
