About Wattention<\/h1>\n

Making fans of Wonderland Japan<\/h2>\n

Our company name, WAttention is a blend of two words and cultures – \u201c\u548c<\/span> (wa)\u201d which in Japanese, means \u201charmony\u201d, \u201cunity\u201d and refers to anything \u201cuniquely Japanese\u201d – and the word \u201cattention\u201d.<\/p>\n

Since \u201cwa\u201d also has the connotation of \u201clinking\u201d, we gave our magazine the name in line with our misson to bring more attention to the world of \u201cwa\u201d and to act as a bridge between Japanese culture, corporations and the world.<\/p>\n

WAttention Corporation, which is the publisher of \u2018WAttention\u2019 – the largest-circulating free magazine of its kind in the world – introduces Japan\u2019s unique culture as it is and tourism sights as they are to readers all over the world, in either English or their local language.\u00a0 Just four years from its launch in 2011, WAttention is now distributed in ten countries in Asean, Europe and the US.<\/p>\n
